Love & Sedition | Book Review

History says, politics and religion go hand in hand and most of the times, it’s love that get butchered amidst all these. With this being the core theme, the book revolves around college politics, caste discrimination and love.

Two different backgrounds, two different ideologies, Neeraja and Sahil meet at college, love blooms only to meet the obstacles set for their love journey created by politics surrounding them. To know what happens to these innocent souls, you need to read the book. All I can say is, hope lingers even in deepest darkness. But for now, let’s look at the technical aspect of the book.

Simple and understandable language. Good for one-time read. But to me, this book is more like storytelling. The book is missing the ability to suck the reader into it which would have been possible only if the author would have used more showing than telling.

So my dear friends, if you like college politics and love set around it; undoubtedly go for this book, but take this book as a storytelling or narration from its narrator.

Thank You!
